Site that I closed is still online

Good afternoon,
The WordPress site (blog) that I closed some time ago is still visible online. When I try to do it again, I get the information that I do not have any WordPress sites anymore. Anyone an idea how to close it down permanently? Thanks a lot!

It does not look like that site was ever deleted by the owner. We have instructions for doing so here:

However, the current issue is that the WordPress.com user account you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the site you are trying to access. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the site. You’ll need to log into THAT user account in order to make any changes, including deletion.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:

Thanks for your prompt reply! I had two WordPress sites indeed. I had no idea they were linked and it seems like I closed the main one and now I can not access the second and delete it. It’s been longer than 30 days since I deleted the site so I cannot recover the data. It seems complicated. Is there any other way of accessing the second account and proceed with closure?

You simply need to log in to your other account which doesn’t appear to have been deleted.

After log in I get the following information: “You have no sites in your profile links. You may add sites if you’d like.” Still quite unclear how to enter and delete the site I own.

You’re currently logged in as annawitkowska. Can you log in as the other user, then update us here? We can take a look at the issue then.

How can I get the log in info to that account (annawitkowskaphotography.com)? The only information and log in I have is to @annawitkowska.com and I keep ending up there. It seems that this is the only account I have.

Try commenting on the site, then watching for the email notification. Then log out and log in as that user. You can reset your password with that email, too.
