Site Theme

My Ocean Mist theme was changed (not by me) earlier this year. Why? How can I change it back? I can’t find the mechanism under appearance and am unable to search for the theme. One of you (not better) changes.

The site with the theme problem is

The Ocean Mist theme is retired, so you won’t be able to switch back.

1 – I first reported the problem with the theme in Aug 2020. It would have been nice to hear from someone.
Is there a theme similar to Ocean Mist that is available? I looked at all the themes but was unable to see one and don’t have the time to go through the demos on all the themes.2 – I also reported the problem at the same time with the menu “vanishing” on the ScoutingSkills site. The top bar menu is not visible. The drop down menus are visible if you hover over the invisible tabs.
I am swamped with the pandemic and unable to devote a lot of time to troubleshooting and re-reporting the same problems. I had a window of time last Aug and again now.

Currently the theme you have is the closest what Ocean Mist was.
2. The issue is that you’ve chosen a white background for the menu.
I recommend choosing a different color by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/custom-colors/

1 – Yes, the reply was for the second problem with the menu “vanishing”. There was no reply to the themes issue.
2 – I did troubleshoot and try the suggested solution before I reported the problem as I said back in Aug and tried it again when they told me to (without success). Even with your reply today it was difficult.
The customizer failed to load until the 3rd time the first time I tried today and failed to load until the 3rd time the second time I tried. I did eventually get into the customizer and had the devil of a time finding the menu color options. It is fixed now.
I am still not happy about the lack of reply in Aug on Ocean Mist and that it is gone. It was the identifier of that site.

Yes. As you can see in that link. I reported TWO issues.
The only one answered was the menu issue – which I said I had already performed the recommended action.I experienced the same problem back then that I had today. Finding and accessing the color options for the menu bar was very difficult. What comes up is only the option for changing the background color and there are no instructions to click on palette (which did not work the first time I tried it) for more options; but I will save the link you provided today in case there are issues in the future.
