I am trying to hide my site title.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey folabusola,
On your current theme, Twenty Sixteen, go to Theme – Customize – Site Title, Tag Line, and Logo, and then uncheck the box that says, “Display Site Title and Tagline.”
This will hide your site title and tagline from the top of your page.
For more information on Twenty Sixteen, you can check this page here: https://wordpress.com/theme/twentysixteen/
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Hello, Scosgro,
Thanks for the response. However, I am currently on the Flexblog theme and there is no option for un-selecting the Display Site Title and Tagline.”
Please help!

Hi folabusola,
You can go to Settings and then in the General tab you will have the field for Site Title. Just remove the name there and see if this is good enough for you.
Let us know if it helped.

Hi blazevivan I am aware that I can take off the Site title, but I also know that this isnt optimal for SEO.
-
You can remove it by adding custom CSS.
If you have Premium or Business plan, you can add the code below. This way it won’t harm your SEO.Go to Customize -> Additional CSS and add:
.site-branding .site-title { display: none; }Let me know if it is working for you.

I am currently on the Flexblog theme
Can you confirm the website address that you need help with?

http://www.thegraceadventures.com is not hosted with WordPress.com. Your site is using DIY WordPress.org on an external hosting provider.
This support channel handles assistance to WordPress.com hosted sites only and the guidance provided here won’t be relevant to you.
You can get some help in the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
As an alternate, you can also contact the support team of your hosting provider to seek help solving your problem.
DIY WordPress.org and WordPress.com are different entities with separate documentation and support forums; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hey folabusola,
Since you’re on a self-hosted website, you should be able to add custom CSS to your theme.
These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com. Since your website is self-hosted on Bluehost, you’re looking for WordPress.org. For information on the differences between WordPres.com and WordPress.org, check this support page here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
For WordPress.org support, you can visit https://wordpress.org/support/ and they should be able to help you from there.
For more information on WordPress.org custom CSS, check this support page here: https://codex.wordpress.org/CSS
Sorry for the confusion! I hope this helps!

Hey folabusola,
@akumarjain is right. Further support can be provided on WordPress.org forums.
Anyhow, as you have a self-hosted site, you are in full control over your configuration files. Thus, you are able to edit them as you need.
Maybe you already solved this, since I’m not able to see your Site title on the site.Good luck!

Thanks guys! obviously I’m still a novice on these matters.
I guess I’ll just have someone help look at it.
Cheers,
Fola.
