Site title and tagline- remove from main page
-
Hi,
Does anyone know how to have the site title and tagline set so it shows in the tab of a browser but doesn’t show up on the main page of your website? I want my header to show just the logo, not my title and tagline as well…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. You can do this in the Customizer under site identity. Make sure you have added your site title and tagline to the correct lines and then uncheck the box to display them. Then publish your changes.
Also if you have any kind of paid upgrade plan, you can receive assistance directly from staff by live chat or email when you post through your dashboard at https://wordpress.com/help/contact when you are logged in with the account that bought the upgrade. Hope that helps

Hi,
I’m not able to remove the tagline either. I made sure the “Display Site Title and Tagline” box was not checked and I even removed the text that was in my timeline but it still shows up.

@oic298765, I’m not seeing a tagline on the site associated with your username right now, just the site title.
