site title does not update

    Hi!
    I am using The Confit Theme. I searched the forum for answers and I tried using the suggested solutions but they are not working for me.

    Originally, I made the site title for my food blog: I am an Addict. I wanted to change the site title to: Good Girls Swallow. (tagline: fighting eating disorders) I am able to change the tagline with no problem.

    I am able to type in both the settings, then general the new name of: Good Girls Swallow and save it. In addition, I am able to type it under customize option and save, but it does not update once I go back to view all my blogs. It still shows: I am an Addict.

    Currently, my site title is: Good Girls Swallow. It shows up on the page, unfortunately it does not update via the dashboard: My blogs.

    I appreciate any information to resolve this issue.

    It doesn’t change on the dashboard for a number of days or weeks.
