Site Title Scroll Position Relocation

Hello! I’ve recently noted the >recommended< necessity of a site title, for this type of site.

I’d like to make it so that the site title relocates to a position next to the upper-left navigation menubar logo when the page is scrolled down, and back when scrolled up. I’ve tried a couple of things, but they didn’t work.

I would also like to be able to adjust the font size of the site title in its relocated position, for media screens under 350px.

Hello, CSS Gurus! I’m trying to place the site title next to the upper left navigation menubar H logo image of hudsonchemicals.com, and be able to reduce the font size for media screens below 350px. Can anyone help with this one? I’ve tried a few things, but got nowhere with it.

Hi, the volunteers will typically answer those things that they can and leave those they can’t for others.

Find this in your custom CSS and make it look like the below.
```
.site-title {
    position: absolute;
    left: 80px;
    top: 30px;
    z-index: 10000;
}
```
then add this to the very bottom of your CSS.
```
header[role="banner"] {
    position: inherit;
}
```
Now visit the site and narrow an widen the browser window and you will see this is not going to work. It’s one of the shortcomings of having to use position: absolute; on responsive designed themes. The title will run over your menu on any screen narrower than 1400px.

I’d suggest leaving it in the original position.

Thank you for the response, @thesacredpath. I’m going to leave it as is, without the site title. Adding it back in was just not an appealing look. I’m just experimenting, at this point, to mature the look of the site a bit. Thank you, and I apologize for the last message there. Frustration was getting the best of me. Take care, Sir.
