Site title/header mystery

In April, I made CSS edits to the Minimum premium theme, including to the header. Today, the header was suddenly replaced by a blue bar. I was able to restore the CSS to its previous version, but now the site title and subtitle appear over the header image.

I wrote in CSS to make it not display, but the CSS is being overridden for some reason.

Additionally, the font that I was using for header (Oswald) has disappeared from the custom font choices and the header a single one of my widgets has suddenly increased in font size.

When these problems started, I hadn’t changed anything at all in the design.

Thanks very much for your help.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reporting this issue! There was a behind-the-scenes change for some of our themes, including Minimum, that may have caused issues in the theme layout like the ones you describe.

We are working on resolving the issues caused by this change. I took a look at your site, and it looks like it’s mostly back to normal now. Since Oswald is the default font for headings in your theme, you can actually remove the custom font you have for headings in order to switch back to that. To do that, go to Appearance > Customize > Fonts and click the “x” next to the font listed under Headings.

If you notice anything else that’s still off on your site, please let me know and I can take another look for you!
