Site transfer question (possibly an annoying FAQ – sorry!)
-
I’ve transferred my blog from footylaw.wordpress.com to footylaw.co.uk.
I’ve purchased the site redirect facility and this is working smoothly.
I have a couple of questions that I need to check:
1. Is it possible to have the “old” stats merged with the new stats to keep the record going?
2. Are the people who subscribed to my blog and its comments at footylaw.wordpress.com automatically transferred to footylaw.co.uk on account of the site redirect tool?
I’d be grateful if you could assist.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and posted the relevant URL(s) into this thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. I tagged this thread for their attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thanks very much – you’re very helpful.
I suppose its too much to ask that the share stats for Facebook and Twitter buttons are copied across too? I guess that won’t work as it is a different URL that has been shared.

Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
I have also merged your stats.
Twitter and Facebook followers are managed on those services, not on WordPress.com.
