Site transferred, JetPack compatibility error
-
Dear WordPress Support,
I have moved my blog to a different webhosting and moved my domain. I have now installed the JetPack plugin to still make use of the WordPress.com services. However, I’m now receiving the following error at Facebook:
More Than One OG URL Specified Object at URL ‘http://www.mahalolena.com’ of type ‘article’ is invalid because it specifies multiple ‘og:url’ values: http://www.mahalolena.com, http://www.mahalolena.com/.
I think this is because I’ve connected my site using JetPack but my original website I had on WordPress.com is also still there. Hence it’s stating that there are multiple OG:URL values.
Could you please let me know in what way I need to move forward?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – That’s happening because another plugin on your site is setting meta tags, in addition to Jetpack, so there are two sets of tags. Try deactivating your other plugins one at a time and testing your URL in the Facebook debugger until you find the plugin that’s adding the additional tags.

I don’t have any other plugin active.. It works when I change the theme. So I guess it’s built-in into the theme?

Hi there – Yep, in that case, it seems your theme sets them. You can remove the Open Graph meta tags from Jetpack so that only your theme meta tags are used; here are a couple of threads with advice on how to do this:
