site transfers unsuccessful – modlook

    Hi,
    We’re trying to find our site, move2playphysicaltherapy.com. In working with the previous developer, it had been transferred twice, but then never appears where it was supposedly transferred. Lastly, it was transferred to this account, but it does not appear under ‘my sites’ and when I try to access the dashboard through the admin URL, it says we don’t have access.

    I’d like to purchase the business plan to get the site back to normal and without WP branding. Can anyone help us locate our site? Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

    I do not see any sites under your @move2playpt WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Or is it the case that the developer that helped you to create this site still has it under their account?

    We have a process in place for transferring a site between WordPress.com accounts, so please have your developer follow the steps here to assure that the site is correctly moved to your account.

    Hi Jerry, Thanks for the response. We received an email at the account move2playpt saying the site was successfully transferred. This is not the first time this happened. Gary (the former developer) transferred it to me @aleah-something, I got the email confirmation, and it wasn’t there.

    I asked him to move it to Valerie. She got the email confirmation, it’s not there. From my perspective, this is no longer a Gary issue, but a WP issue. Are you able to do the transfer from WP? This is the about the 10th separate occasion I’ve had to seek support for something so simple. I have a screenshot of the mail, but it doesn’t look like I can attach it here. Thanks!

    The most recent attempt at transfer we have logged on that site is 2 weeks ago, when ownership was transferred from you to Gary. There are no transfer attempts after that.

    As Gary is the current owner, Gary will need to try transferring again, or post here under his account to request us to do the transfer.
