  I’ve had a WordPress site for twenty years at simon-rose.com. I just need to know if I can update the theme and give it a fresh look without screwing up all the formatting. The site has a lot of pages.

  I see. Well, I was sent here by your support people, who were well aware of my hosting details, not to the other site, so that’s a little frustrating to discover this is the wrong place. Might be an idea for the WordPress support people to be providing the right information in future.

  Well, I was sent here by your support people, who were well aware of my hosting details,

  I’m not seeing any record of any other support staff conversations in the forums or via email with our team. Can you point us to where you were getting this advice? If it was from one of our support team members, we’d like to check and make sure that they weren’t confused and giving incorrect information.

  Ah, that’s an entirely separate company, owned by GoDaddy.

  We’re not affiliated with them, so we cannot control what their support staff says.
