Site Url change
-
Hi, Im trying to change my site url from studiosamsam (currently) to samsamcreative. I had samsamcreative registered and as my site up until around 14:10 today. I changed the address of samsamcreative to samsamcreatives so that it would then allow me to change the name of my studiosamsam site to samsamcreative (as it would no longer be in use.) Now when I try to change the address of my studiosamsam url to samsamcreative it shows that the address is reserved and i cannot have it. I was thinking that maybe i just need to leave it a while for wordpress to refresh the available site urls so to speak. Is this correct?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ok,
Sorry to be picky here, but I always pay attention to spelling:There are 2 domains that you refer to:
samsamcreatives and samsamcreative (which one is supposed to be?)And I see that your site: samsamcreatives.wordpress.com is currently marked as private…

Hi sorry about the confusion. I want the domain samsamcreative. Which i Did have but changed it to samsamcreatives in order to change another site into being called samsamcreative. Messy i know. Think ive gone about this in a messy order.

7. The final option on this screen allows you to discard your current address. This option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again. If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade. https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/ Note: if you do not select this option, you will see your original address under My Sites.

From: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

Changing a URL is meant to be a permanent and irreversible act. No changed or deleted blog URLs are recycled here, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago
