Site URL help?!

  I just made a wordpress account with the username DimaTheWanderer and wanted to create a site using the same name, however I keep having words like Site and Blog added to it when I don’t want that, I tried looking for a dimathewanderer.wordpress.com site to see if the name was taken, but it isn’t, it says the authors deleted the site when I did no such thing! Is there any way for me to be able to use that as my URL? I already use the name in many other platforms and absolutely NEED my blog to be of the same name!
