Site using my work but they are not contactable.

    There is a WordPress site that is using some very old artwork i submitted some years ago. However, my style has changed and the content is having a negative effect when my name is searched for on Google. I am worried that it is appearing in searches from potential employers. The site admin appears to have disappeared apart from a facebook profile, and he refuses to respond to several messages sent on there. I simply want my artwork/page taken down, I know the site is currently inactive but is there a way of forcing the page to be taken down? The rest of it can stay up as far as I’m concerned.

    WordPress.com Terms of Service Staff have authority to act only when copyright infringement on a site hosted by wordpress.com is in evidence and has been reported to them by way of a DMCA notice. https://en.support.wordpress.com/our-dmca-process/

    Complaints like this one are not dealt with here on the public support forums. Only Terms of Service Staff have authority in such cases and their authority applies to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM, not to any others.
