  my site is paulericksonblog23.com I can link to the site, but cannot manage it because wordpress says I have no site.

  Your wordpress.com account paulerickson23 is only 17 minutes and cannot be connected to an older site. Your “missing” site is connected to your other account paulericksonblog23. Juist log out from your current account and login again as paulericksonblog23.
