How do I get my website to show up in a search engine. I have tried everything in the tutorials, as far as I know. I tried verifying it but that did not help.
google and bing webmasters tools say that the site cannot be verified. It does not show up in any search engine.
I am getting very frustrated. Help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. It can take several weeks for your website to start appearing in search engine results. Focus on creating content on a regular basis so that the search engines are pinged regularly and they will start indexing your blog, but it’s going to take time.

A common mistake is to close the Google Webmaster Tools window when you go to your WordPress.com dashboard to input the verification code. Make sure you leave both sites open in different tabs/windows until the process is completed. Something else you’ll need to consider: your entire site consists of static pages. Static sites are indexed by Google much less frequently than blogs that regularly have new content, so unless you create a section where you regularly add new posts you’re not going to do that well in terms of search results in any case.
