site verification problems

  My new blog site which was email verified weeks ago will not allow me to post pages or posts. Error Message at top of page says my email needs to be verified. but once clicked I’m not receiving the verification email. I’ve tried repeatedly but still do not receive a verification email. it is not my email provider. Please advise and assist.

  Hi Kevin,

  I checked and WordPress.com has sent you quite a few verification emails that your email provider accepted for delivery to you. If those aren’t arriving in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder or contact your email provider for more assistance to find out why those emails aren’t reaching you.

  Thank you Rachelmcr,
  I have not gotten any emails from word press, (I’m wondering if it misht have something to do with a bug where I just recently downloaded Window 10 but all my other Microsoft accounts are functioning properly)
  I even tried deleting the site in order to start over (didn’t work)
  Tried changing the email on the account…still no luck
  then even tried adding and setting up another blog through this blog…still no luck
  I’m completely baffled and at the end of my rope is it possible to verify my blog through another word press blog of mine or email?

  Hi Kevin,

  If you have another email address, you can update the email in your account settings to switch to that. You’ll get a confirmation email at that new address, which will complete the change and verify the email address on your account so it’s fully activated. (That will also ensure you can receive emails from WordPress.com about your account.)

  OK I finally resolved this issue. Thank you very much for your assistance and feed back rachelmcr, and timethief I very much appreciate it. I’m still not sure what the problem was or is, for some reason I can not receive any emails from word press in any of my Microsoft email accounts. I finally tried using and old gmail account in my account settings and the verification went through and my blog is now activated.
