Site verification with Google Console

  Hi. I require assistance in verifying my site with Google search console. I followed the instructions on WordPress on how to do it, but my site has not been verified.
  I registered my URL as instructed. I copied the HTML from Google to paste in my traffic page for Google. But I still couldn’t get my site verified.
  Please help me out.

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did you follow the instructions as given at https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/#google-search-console?

  Yes I did. I actually did it 5 times with no result.
