Site Visibility

  Site visibility — due to time issues, I want to make both of my blogs inactive, but keep my domain names. I chose the option “I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose” in each blog. But if I search for the websites online, it still brings me to each of their home pages. Did I miss a step or something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You’re on the right track. Google and other search engines aren’t updated instantly, so your site will remain in their results until the next time they attempt to index your site. When they see it marked as private, the results will be removed from their index.

  If you are logged out and try to follow the link to your blog, you should be notified that it is marked as private.
