site visibility problem to search engines

Hello. Amazingly (for a computer technophobe) I have managed to create a website using your very good ‘help’ pages. Quite a few days ago I changed from ‘discourage search engines from indexing this site’ to ‘allow search engines to index this site’ (in settings/reading/site-visibility). However, it still happens that when I type my site name into Google, it comes up with: “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt” What do I need to do to fix this? Many thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yay, congrats for creating a site on WordPress.com, warm welcome!

WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites, so it’s normal that your site has not been indexed yet, if you only recently changed the visibility settings.
