Site was set up with wrong homepage in WP
-
My friend has added WP to her existing site for blogging purposes. In WP she’s set up the home page of the site to be http://www.example.com/blog as well as setting that to be the blog address. Obviously that’s wrong as the actual site url is (for example) http://www.example.com. This has been the situation for I don’t know how long, she’s been blogging for a couple of years now. If I amend the site address to read as it should then none of the blog links work, even the blog home page 404s. Does anyone have any diea of how to fix this please?
Also if I change the post urls from default to postname all the internal links fail again. I’ve not seen this before, can anyone help please? -
