Site went down but I can’t get in to fix it

I was trying to updated a plug-in (WooCommerce Payments) but then my site went down. I got an email saying there’s a fatal error and ‘If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special ‘recovery mode’. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.’ However, the recovery mode link in the email doesn’t even work.
I’m not sure what to do since I can’t even get into the backend of my website to uninstall the plug in.
Anyone have any experience or help with how to fix this?
