Site went offline

Hello! I upgraded this morning from Starter to Creator. I was going to try to set up eCommerce on my site, but realized it is way too complicated for me. This afternoon I cancelled the upgrade, but now my site is offline. For some reason the Domain that I have: kevingleasonart.com is not pointed towards my site anymore. I tried going to upgrades to remind WordPress that I have paid for the Starter plan for a year that includes my personal URL but it says ‘this plan is not available for your site.’ I am upset that my site is now broken and hoping that everything will be reverted to where it was when I started this morning with my usual working website before I tried to upgrade to Creator. Can you please reset it the way it was?
    Thank you

  • Hi there! Your website was downgraded to the Free plan upon your recent Creator plan cancellation. I’ve gone ahead and restored both your previous Starter plan and the Domain Connection option for you, so now your site is back. Could you please check your website and confirm it?

  • We are also sorry to hear that your eCommerce setup didn’t go smoothly. If you are still looking to add eCommerce features to your website, please let us know via https://wordpress.com/help so we can discuss your goals and options further.

Thanks so much for your fast reply. I went to the site and it says it is now a private site. I logged in and it seemed to work. How do I go about making it public again? Also, I didn’t realize that this forum is public. Is it possible to remove my website name from the forum post? thanks!

  • Hi @kgleason33! It looks like you have already re-published your site.

Also, I didn’t realize that this forum is public. Is it possible to remove my website name from the forum post? thanks!

Information posted in our forums can be deleted only if it contains a personal or private information. Given that your site is a public site, we don’t remove it from your post. Thank you for your understanding.
