Site will not allow me to install a new theme

    Hi. I just tried to install a new theme on my blog, but it said that the site can not install the theme and that I should contact support.

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there! You’ve landed on the support forums for websites that are hosted here on WordPress.com; it looks like your site http://durableexcellence.org/ uses the free WordPress software from WordPress.org, and is hosted with another platform if I understand correctly? If so, were you intending to post to the WordPress.org forums at this link just below?

    I’m unfortunately unable to check why the theme could not be installed, as your site isn’t hosted on our system here on WordPress.com. We’d definitely recommend checking in with either your hosting platform, or the WordPress.org community mentioned above.

    However if you would want us to have this type of access to check theme installations and provide services like daily backups, and our 24/7 support service (among other things), you could of course migrate over to WordPress.com from your current host and use our Business plan!
