site won't come up

  Dear word press,

  I was showing my daughter my website (familymediating.net) . I paid for an upgrade to customize the font but when I looked at it on her computer, the heading and font were the ones that came with original template and were not the ones I use with the upgrade. On my computer it shows the font I want.

  When I got home I typed in my site address on my husband’s computer ( http://www.familymediatig.net) and I was not directed to the site. I couldn’t find my site at all and was directed to sites with similar names (family-mediation.net). I am trying to start a business and need people to find my site when they type in the address.

  Make sure that you’re typing in the URL correctly. If your site doesn’t yet show up in Google, that can take a bit of time:
  Search Engines

  Your custom fonts are appearing properly on my end. What browser and version was your daughter using on her computer?

  Thank you. My daughter has a very old MAC and uses Safari..

  I could get the site to come up on my husband’s computer if I typed the URL in the address bar, but not if I typed it in Google search. However, it comes up on Google search on other computers.

  Hi Debra,

  See if it makes a difference if your daughter loads your site in the most recent version of Chrome or Firefox: http://browsehappy.com/

  Google listings should be the same, regardless of what computer you use, but your site will become better ranked by Google as you continue to blog and build up your traffic. :)
