Site worked yesterday, but not today? Can't login to dashboard

  I haven’t made any changes since my last login but I keep getting
  Site is currently unable to handle this request.
  HTTP ERROR 500

  Do I need to nuke the whole site and start again now?

  Speaking with the sites hosting service “Optin Monster API” was the issue.

  Prevented me from getting into the WP admin panel so they deactivated it on their end.
