Site_Inaccessible Error when activating JetPack

  I keep getting this error when I try to activate JetPack…

  Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

  Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 500]. If you are hosted with Go Daddy, they are aware of this issue, and we at WordPress.com are working with them to fix it. If your site is hosted elsewhere, please contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/

  I am currently hosted on Fatcow.com and this is an addon domain. My root domain has JetPack running and installed with no problems so I am not sure what the root cause is. Any help will be appreciated.

  Can you please try temporarily deactivating all other plugins, then try Jetpack again?

  I think it may have been Bulletproof Security plugin but not 100% sure
