Sitebar

  Dear WordPress Team,

  I have one more question. I’ve added a Sitebar, but actually I want the sitebar to appear only on my Home page not on all the other pages. Is that possible? If yes how?

  Hi there,

  You can achieve this goal a couple of ways. The easiest is probably to change the template for the pages you don’t want the sidebar to appear to “full width, no sidebar.”

  To do this, open each page in “edit” mode from your dashboard (pages>all pages) then click “edit” under each page. Once you are on the edit screen change the template under page attributes (in the right sidebar) from “default template” to “full width, no sidebar.” Click update and you should be all set.

  The other option is to change the visibility settings on all your sidebar widgets to “show if page is front page.” More on widget visibility settings here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
