Sitemap doesn’t update

  Hi, I’ve updated and created new pages, but my sitemap doesn’t update. It should a very old modified date and even shows a page that doesn’t exist anymore. Can you please help? Many thanks!

  Correct account: Yes

  I tried setting the site to “private” for a while, and enabled “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”. That removed the sitemap. But when I switched back, the old sitemap appeared again.

  I’m currently turning it off for 24hrs to see if that helps

  Also I updated the home page today

  Now after some time the problem was magically fixed.

  Maybe it helped because I created additional posts/pages linked from the frontpage
