[sitemap] Shortcode not working

  I read here https://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/shortcode/
  That using the [sitemap] shortcode would output my wordpress sitemap but it didn’t output anything. I’ve tried this on a few different sites before and it has never worked for me. Is there some setup that wasn’t included in the article that I have to do before I can use the shortcode?

  That article refers to sites hosted at WordPress.com. Do you have a site hosted here? If your site uses the WordPress.org installation I believe you’d need to download an appropriate plugin. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  I didn’t realize the article was for wordpress.com sites only. Thanks for clarifying!
