Sitemap syntax error

I’ve posted on the french forums but someone told me it could be better to copy paste the thing here in order to get some help. Sorry for the mistakes by advance.
Ok so, I created a new blog and I’ve been using the Google webmasters tools for only a few days now. I followed every step, got my site verified and I have seen that the sitemap is automatically generated. The thing is that I guess I still have to “send” it to Google because otherwise it says “no sitemap” at all in the webmasters tools. Hence the fact I tried to send the sitemap to get rid of so errors and better appear in researchs.
But when I try to visualize my sitemap at the address “mywebsite.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml” I have an error and when I send it to Google I have the related error too. I’ll copy and translate the errors below and hope for some help =) ! Thx in advance.What I have:

I don’t know how long it could take to have an answer but I’d like to fix that because I feel like it forbid me to have a better visibility. But again I can be wrong as far as I’m pretty new at this ^^”

I am sorry but I cannot help with this or I would have done so. This is an issue for Staff.

Ahah that’s nice from you but it’s ok, I won’t die without a sitemap, it’d be more convenient but… meh ^^

Found the problem, you had a non-breaking space HTML character in the page slug for “À propos”.
I’m not sure how that got there, but it’s gone now.
