sitemap troubles
-
Hello. I would like to submit a sitemap to google for SEO, but http://prabogado.com/sitemap.xml reveals an error page. I am aware of the other option outlined in the WordPress sitemap support page (http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/), but for this you need categories and my blog is designed as a static paged website, and pages don’t have the “category” option. How can I get a sitemap? Thanks. :)
The blog I need help with is prabogado.com.

Howdy,
We’ve received a couple of other reports of sitemaps returning error messages and we’re investigating. This should work for you without any action, so thanks for your patience.

Howdy again,
With your particular site, since it is marked as private (via the Settings->Reading settings page), it won’t generate a sitemap (since Google won’t be able to index it anyhow).
Once the site is marked public and accessible to search engines, the sitemap will be generated.
If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know.

Hmm. I did have the site marked as private while I worked on it, but it has been marked as “Allow search engines to index this site” since Thursday. I just double checked and it is definitely saved on the correct setting. Actually, I posted a link on Facebook to the website and the little preview Facebook gives of the link you post said the same thing – that it was marked as private – although it is no longer marked as private…

Howdy,
Can you try it again? It appears the cache may have held onto the setting longer than it was supposed to. I’m digging into that, but your site should be as expected now.
Thanks!
