Hi @azusabroker,
URL is an address of your website, the one that you see in browsers address bar.
F.e. this post has URLhttps://wordpress.com/forums/topic/sitename-based-on-url/To clarify your problem, please specify to us: are you referring to the Site Address (URL) mentioned below? Do you want to modify it?

If not, what are you intending to do with URL address? Maybe you need a custom domain on WordPress.com?
Anyway, could you please tell us the address of the site you need help with?Once we know that we can point you in the right direction for support.

Hi there,
On what site are you working and what exactly are you trying to do? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
@maksimurasov, your inclusion of that screen shot comes across as an instruction to the OP that that’s where they need to modify their site address.First, that option does not exist for sites hosted on WordPress.com, so I’d never use it unless it’s specifically a question that points to someone breaking their site by changing those settings. Second, simply modifying a site address there will always, without exception, completely break a self-hosted WordPress site, as a bunch of other stuff needs to happen first before you can edit it there, so that option should never be pointed out without also referring to the detailed address change information from the WordPress.org support documentation. So please be cautious in how you use this particular screen shot.
In this case, given the vagueness of the original question, there’s no reason to include it, especially not in a first response.
Sometimes just asking for more details and awaiting an answer is more effecient than trying to provide a possible answer at the same time. Not all threads can be solved with a single reply :)

Hi @kokkieh,
I already came across breaking the website after modifying those fields on a selfhosted website, so my idea was if same happened to OP too. But you are right, now I see that my response potentially can be understood as call to action, which is very dangerous in this particular case.
Thanks again for your willingness to help. -

Multiple domains to one wordpress website, would like to dynamically change site name and content depending on Domain Name
While you can have different content and domain names on a WordPress.com site, there’s no way to have that content under a single install and change the display of the content based on the domain name. You would need to have each specific content/domain on its own WordPress site/install.
I hope that clarifies things!
