  • Hi –

Thanks for getting in touch. It looks like your site is running on the stand alone WordPress installation which is a bit different from using WordPress.com.

    Those details are here:

I paid for the wordpress website builder package with GoDaddy. They keep saying nothing is wrong and nothing has changed and that if it has changed it is my fault. But i logged on today for the first time in ages and it just doesnt work like it should. When i asked GoDaddy to check my history and login information they refused and just asked me for $50.00 an hour to fix it. But i havent done anything and i havent touched it. I dont know why they want money for fixing a problem they essentially caused as far as i can see.

oh and by the way i dont know the difference between their wordpress and the one at wordpress.com. Godaddy assured me it was EXACTLY the same.

  • Sorry to hear that, @tax50. This article explains the difference between our service and the free software:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Basically on GoDaddy you’re using the free software; on our servers we run the software for you and take care of maintenance.

Since the problem is with SiteOrigin’s editor, have you thought about reaching out to their support?
