Site’s feed with media tags throwing errors at Google webmaster tools

    Is it possible to not include the ‘media’ XML tag in the site’s feed if the media object is not hosted at the same domain as the story? I know it’s not possible via the site’s admin section, so this is more of a WP.com staff question.

    I’m asking because I’m now getting Google webmaster sitemap errors because the site’s feed includes a media tag with an off-site image source.

    The image is a counter such as digg counter that keeps track of how many diggs (or “kicks” in this instance) that a article received. So I can’t save the image and then upload it to my web site, because it is a dynamic image that changes with the number of diggs/kicks the article receives, etc.
