Does this mean the site is hacked or hijacked to Parkingcrew? And if so, what action is possible?
-
I don’t know what it means. Because the sites are not hosted here I suggest contacting the web host ATLS-LB

No they aren’t hosted here at WordPress.COM

That’s not the same website. That one has an “s” at the end of “cottages”. Mine is staithes-holidaycottage.co.uk

I’m sorry but we are unable to provide support for any sites that are not hosted here at WordPress.COM and our support docs do not apply to your site.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the Theme support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
It’s NOT staithes-holidaycottages.co.uk
It’s staithes-holidaycottage.co.uk
No “s” at the end of cottage -
My sites ARE hosted at WordPress.com which is why I am seeking support here. They are emphatically NOT on WordPress.org
My original request remains the same. -
Please go here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/
Type your URLs in and click. If you were forwarding and masking we do not provide help for that at all as it is unreliable. If you want to map from an underlying .wordpress.com blog to those URLs then you need two domain mapping upgrades.

My sites ARE hosted at WordPress.com which is why I am seeking support here. They are emphatically NOT on WordPress.org
My original request remains the same. The domain helper says neither URL is being domain mapped. If you think you are paying WordPress.COM for two domain mapping upgrades then what is the URL of the underlying .wordpress.com you are mapping from to those two domains please.

Know that I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Where would I find ” the URL of the underlying .wordpress.com you are mapping from to those two domains please. ” ?
Secondly: “Know that I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. ” How and where would I subscribe to this?

Hi again,
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from, and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase, or you must already own the domain URL.You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades to purchase upgrades for the blog.
Staff are going to deal with this. If you have paid for two domain mapping upgrades that will be found at:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
Dashboard > Store > Billing HistoryTo subscribe:
1. Look in the sidebar of this thread and find the subscribe to topics link.
2. Or look below the comment box for this: _ Notify me of followup posts via e-mail -
I have receipts for domain mapping at WordPress.com for both of my sites:
staithesholidaycottages.wordpress.com March 2014
holidaycottageyorkshirecoast.wordpress.com Feb 2014 -
Good. Hold onto them please and know that Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
We need to stop posting here now until after Staff respond because posting moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.

Hi @staithesholidaycottages – It looks like both of the sites you mention are back up and running. Are you still having trouble?
