Sites overview in wordpress.com dashboard also (only) shows my test sites.

    Hello,

    For testing purposes I hosted wordpress website on a localhost. Using the “hosts” file and the university network these blogs had their own URLs. Now because I use jetpack on my website and I copied my online website they are somehow now also connected to my wordpress.com “sites” overview. However I do not want them there and like them removed, however there is no option that allows you to remove those websites from your overview.

    Why is this feature not there? Or if it is there, how do I remove them.

    In addition, the URL of my online blog that I have connected to my account because of jetpack and akismet is not showing up at all on the dashboard…?

    The blog url I had to post is not relevant as it is a dashboard issue.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi jsquare,

    I’ve tagged this topic for a Staff follow-up! They’ll be able to help delete the sites that you haven’t been able to delete.

    @jsquare

    Please confirm that these are the URLs for the sites in question and that you’d like to remove their association with your WordPress.com account:

    • janjaapkempenaar.nl
    • kempenaarjj.student.utwente.nl/janjaapkempenaar.nl/

    Also, if you’re having trouble connecting a self-hosted site to your WordPress.com account, please review the following resources:

    http://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/

    http://jetpack.me/support/debug/

    Once you confirm how you’d like to proceed, I will remove the site links in question.

    Hello,
    When I go to this URL i get the following list of websites:
    janjaapkempenaar.lh – (test-site) remove
    kempenaarjj.student.utwente.nl/janjaapkempenaar.nl/ – (test-site) remove

    The website that should be connected is janjaapkempenaar.nl, however I do not see it, I will rever to the provided sources first and see there. On my website jetpack however does work fine.

    Hello,

    When I use the tool from http://jetpack.me/support/debug and enter:
    http://janjaapkempenaar.nl/
    And then perform the debug, I get an unknown error:

    Debug

    Unknown error

    An unknown error has occurred.

    If you continue to get this error, please check out our troubleshooting guide or contact support

    @jsquare

    I believe I’ve addressed the issue.

    To confirm, you’d like kempenaarjj.student.utwente.nl/janjaapkempenaar.nl/ dissociated from your WordPress.com account?

    Also, if you do not plan on using Jetpack with a self-hosted, WordPress.org site, please disconnect it from WordPress.com and uninstall it.

    Finally, for future reference, if you’re having an issue with Jetpack, you can directly contact its developers for support via their contact form:

    http://jetpack.me/contact-support/

    Once you provide confirmation, I will remove kempenaarjj.student.utwente.nl/janjaapkempenaar.nl/ from your WordPress.com account.

    Yes that is the one to remove.
    I will contact support regarding the other issue.

    Thank you.
