Sites showing up on WordPress App and not on WordPress.com

    Hi all,

    I’ve noticed that there are sites (self-hosted) that show up on the WordPress App (iOS) that are not showing up on the WordPress App (For Mac) or WordPress.com. I’m trying to remove these sites, however, in the iOS WordPress App (where they are visible) does not have the option to disconnect / remove the site. When I login to WordPress.com, or the WordPress App for Mac I do have the ability to disconnect, however, the sites in question are not visible.

    Hi there,

    The mobile app works a bit different than the Mac app in this regard – in order for a self-hosted site to appear in the Mac app or your My Sites list in a browser, the site has to be connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin. I see you have several of those in your account.

    But the mobile app also allows you to add a self-hosted site to the app directly, without any active Jetpack connection. If you add a site to the app in this way, it won’t appear in your My Sites site list as well, but will only appear in the app.

    To remove those sites, tap on the My Sites tab, followed by Switch Site. Find the site you want to remove in the list, and long-press on it to remove it from the app.
