Sites went missing

My sites under this account are missing (Gratefuloutfitters.com, Gratefuloutffiters.net, Gratefuloutfitters.org)

    What happened to them?

  • Hi,

I’m not seeing any record of those domains or sites ever being registered or hosted here at WordPress.com.

Could you have built a site with the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org and hosted it elsewhere?

I have multiple emails from WordPress about my sites. Here is the text of the latest…

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Slider Revolution.

First, visit your website (http://gratefuloutfitters.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://gratefuloutfitters.com/wp-admin/) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.5.5
Current theme: Twenty Fifteen (version 2.6)
Current plugin: Slider Revolution (version 5.2.6)
    PHP version 7.3.28

  • Hi there, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com; it is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Microsoft.

You should be able to log in to it through https://gratefuloutfitters.com/wp-login.php Is that where you are getting stuck?

Because we use a custom login system on WordPress.com, we are not able to help you regain access, but for the version of WordPress that your hosting provider uses, you can find help in the support forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

Before you ask for help there, though, you may want to try the steps they recommend here first: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

With that said, if you’d like to manage your WordPress.org site through WordPress.com, that is one of the features of the Jetpack plugin: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/ :)

my sites are hosted with JustHost and I just saw a support notification from them that they are having issues. I was confused because I’m using WordPress to build the site but JustHost to host it.

    Thank you,
