  When building my pages I configured them private, but when they were complete, I configured them public to any one. Now, when trying to advertise the site to my friends in Facebook with a link, FB produces a preview image below the post saying that my site is private and readers have to login. Private, login? Is this a bug in WordPress or am I doing something wrong? Yes, the site is open to anyone, my friend tested it.

  Thanks for bringing up the issue.
  I made some tests on my Facebook too with your website’s pages, and all the links displayed a correct image and description on the snippet.

  Can you provide a specific URL which displayed the private alert on your Facebook?
  It may be an issue related to your cookies, so you may also want to clear the browser cache and see if the problems persists.
