  Is it possible to purchase a subdomain from “wp.com”, ie, “site.wp.com”? I’m talking about the shortened version specifically ie) site.wp.com !== site.wordpress.com.

  The name I’m trying to purchase is already registered with site.wordpress.com, but site.wp.com takes me to wordpress.com, and I’d like to purchase a subdomain at site.wp.com specifically.

  No, we do not offer subdomains at wp.com, but you can register any available domain by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
