Situation

My situation is this: I purchased a domain at WordPress.com and paid £43.20GBP last week. This was for a basic plan that has free domain name and email support. When I click on my page to ‘Write’ my first page it asks me to purchase a domain. Confused, I type in the name of my domain and it says it is already mapped to a wordpress. Either someone else has bought it (strange, as I bought it the other day) or I can’t retrieve it. I have asked to speak to an engineer: crickets. I have been replied to on here by a helpful forum member: thank you but I am about to ask for a refund on this so would appreciate the help with someone higher up now as the links you have sent me do not fix the issue.
Even when I go to refund this transaction it doesn’t show up on my page even though I have emails verifying the account and saying my domain is ready and my bank says the money has transfered. I have the Transaction ID.
What has gone on?
I have paid for a subscriptiobn with email support and a domain and I can’t contact anyone, I don’t think that it is acceptable when I can’t use these functions.

These threads I creat are not duplicates anyway – just me simply trying to get help. I want some help from someone who works at WordPress and get on the system.
