  Hi, I’m using free WordPress. I applied a theme called ‘Edin’ but want to switch back to whatever came out of the box with WordPress, so that I can use the Static Front Page option. thanks

  You can use static front page option with all the themes, including Edin.

  There is no standard theme that comes out of the box, but you can switch to any theme anytime from here: https://theme.wordpress.com/
