Six months later my site still isn't indexed by google
-
Site:fragmentedchrysalis.wordpress.com/ still comes up with zero results. Searching for strings like “fragmented chrysalis” “alita jean” shows a handful of pages that link back to my blog, but never the blog itself. I set my page to allow search indexing shortly after inception, and recently added my site manually to google by verifying ownership. Still nothing.
All in all this is very frustrating. I rarely get any visitors except close friends, but it is a chicken and egg scenario. People will never find it if it isn’t indexed at all.

Google analytics said there was a problem with my robots.txt here is a dump of the file in my root directory. Is there any way to edit / replace it? Sorry I am a total newb.

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
I know that not getting indexed can be frustrating, and we are all at the behest of search engines when it comes to climbing the rankings.
To offer reassurance, your site is indexable and can be crawled, the dump provided does not indicate any issues also.
My advice would be to drive traffic to your site from the outside. Please see this guide here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/ on how best to do this.
You may also wish to build a community surrounding your content. This is also a helpful guide on how to do this as well. https://wordpress.com/support/grow-your-community/
I hope this helps.
