  Hello, I would like to change the size of my gravatar image. Is there a possibility to get it bigger?

  In a single word the answer is no. The theme https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2 is deisgned to provided that size of gravatar in the header are only.

  If you want to create an About page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page and include a larger image on it https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/#add%C2%A0single%C2%A0media-items-uploading-images-video-and-audio , or use an image widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/ in the sidebar see those support docs.
