Size of background image for Isola theme?

  I’d like guidance on the size of a background image for the Isola theme.

  And, does the background image fill the whole screen or sit within the two vertical lines outside the central column?

  I can’t see any example of use of a background image – or color – in the demo.

  – It will fill the entire screen but if you will have an image on the page then that image will be visible not the background image for that part and other than that your background image will be everywhere displayed.

  I can’t see any example of use of a background image – or color – in the demo.

  – Maximum Upload size for one file is 1GB.

  No worries!

  Believe me, I have worn out my eyeballs trying to find the recommended pixel size for a background image in the Isola set-up configurations.

  I see that the recommended size for a header image is 2000 x 500.

  But that would be too short for a full-page background. Poking around the web I find many different opinions – from 3000 x 2000 to 1440 x 900.

  Perhaps I should just be brave and try 2000 x 2000. It’s going to be a fixed background anyway, so perhaps the only important thing is the width?

  No nerd here, as you can see… :-)
