size of database concern

  Someone I know was dropped from their host provider because thier database got too large. What are my limitations with WordPress? should I be concerned?

  Hi there!

  We don’t limit the number of subscribers or posts. The only limitation that your WordPress.com account has is in your media library. The basic WordPress.com account comes with 3GB of data space for images. You can upgrade that by purchasing a space upgrade through the Store. Embedding videos from sites like YouTube or Vimeo, among others is completely free. (If you’d like to upload videos, you can do so by purchasing the VideoPress upgrade.)

  You can see how much space you have left by going to your Media Library through your dashboard:
