size of featured image

  I’m working with the harmonic theme and I can’t find out what size the featured image needs to be. Not the fool picture is visible – no matter what size I try and it seems to cut off the same part of the picture no matter what size it has.
  Like it would cut on aspect ratio… I want to know which part of the picture will be visible, if I use an image for the featured image, like with header images. There you can always see what part will be visible.

  Large images and videos have a width of 1216px.

  Since there isn’t a way to specify which portion of the featured image will be visible in Harmonic at various screen sizes, it’s best to find an image that doesn’t require precise cropping or framing.
