size of featured image, Edin

  I’m using the theme Edin and the photos in the middle are “featured images” . Can I make them appear bigger? The Edin demo theme seems to have much bigger featured image(under the title and above the grid). I hope you have some tips. Thanks!

  Hi Margit,
  I just took a look at some of the details in the theme information itself. What size pictures have you been using? This is what it had in the information:
  “The image will be cropped for small screens to fit the available space, which means not all of the header image will be visible on all screen sizes, so decorative background images may work best. We recommend using an image 1230 pixels wide by 1230 pixels high.”

  Because it does have to be displayed across many different size screens, etc if you can go with the recommended size you may find that it works much better.

  Hi @estonianhousenl!

  In addition to double checking the image size like @jenlynnemc (which I think looks good) it will also help to add some text to the body of your font page.

  If you check the Edin Demo, theres a block of text over that image – the height of that text makes the featured image taller.

  Perhaps use that spot for an introduction or welcome message? :)
