Size of Gallery Images

  I’m trying to create a post that contains a gallery of images. It’s an image only post, no text. I’ve successfully inserted the gallery, but, when I preview, the images are really small. I read that you can edit the code to change the image size, but this doesn’t seem to work. What am I doing wrong? I want the post to have a nice sized gallery, and right now, its too small to be effective.
